Frequently Asked Questions

What surfaces do you specialize in restoring?
We specialize in natural stone (marble, limestone, travertine, granite), tile and grout, terrazzo, showers, countertops, and other hard surfaces. Each surface is treated using methods specific to its material and condition.
Most surfaces benefit from professional care every 12–24 months, depending on foot traffic, moisture exposure, and maintenance habits. High-use or wet areas may require more frequent service.
Yes. Many stone surfaces can be honed and polished to reduce or eliminate etching, scratches, and dullness. Professional restoration is often far more effective and affordable than replacement.

Dullness and discoloration are often caused by microscopic surface damage or residue buildup rather than dirt. Professional restoration addresses these issues at the surface level.

Yes. Showers are constantly exposed to moisture, soap residue, and minerals. Professional shower restoration removes buildup beneath the surface and protects tile and grout to help prevent recurring issues.

Grout is porous and absorbs moisture and contaminants. Without proper sealing or color sealing, discoloration can quickly return even after cleaning.

Grout color sealing restores grout to a uniform color while sealing it against moisture and stains. It is highly recommended for showers, kitchens, and high-use areas. During your evaluation, the RESTORIA team member can apply a small color seal sample to a grout area of your choosing so you can see the effectiveness of this process for yourself.

Yes. Sealing helps protect porous surfaces from staining, moisture intrusion, and everyday wear, extending the life and appearance of stone, tile, and grout.
Yes. Terrazzo surfaces can often be cleaned, refined, and polished to restore clarity and gloss without replacement.
Most residential projects are completed within one day. Larger or more involved restoration work may require additional time, which we clearly communicate in advance.

We specialize exclusively in hard surface restoration and protection. Our approach is surface-specific, detail-driven, and focused on long-term results—not temporary cleaning.
